A stamp card your regulars can't lose.

Paper loyalty cards end up in the wash or at the bottom of a bag. Crocadilo puts your stamp card on your customer's phone. They scan a QR code at the counter to join, and your barista adds a stamp by scanning their code. No app, no form to fill in.

  • Free for 100 members
  • No app for customers
  • Apple and Google Wallet

Little things that cost a café its regulars

Three half-full cards

The old card is in another coat, so they start a new one. They rarely reach the free coffee. A card on their phone is always with them.

The 8am queue

The office run of six flat whites and two oat lattes, sent as a jumble of texts. A pre-order store sends it to your WhatsApp as one tidy list.

"What time do you close?"

Asked on Instagram, on the phone and at the till. Put your hours, menu and links on one card people can save.

Use case

How it works for an independent coffee shop on a busy high street

  1. The problem

Paper stamp cards get lost in coats and washed in jeans. Regulars start again from zero and the reward never comes.

  2. Day one

The owner sets up a 10-stamp card on Bronze, prints the QR poster and puts it by the till. A tablet on the counter is the scanner.

  3. Every morning

Regulars scan once to join, then show their phone at the till. Staff tap to add a stamp while the coffee's brewing.

  4. Every week

The owner's digital card goes on Instagram and Google, with the menu, opening hours and a WhatsApp button for big orders.

What it costs: Stamp card free for the first 100 members. Add the digital card and pre-orders on Basic for £10 a month.

An illustrative use case, not a real customer.

How you'd set it up

Three steps for a café

  1. Make your stamp card

Pick 8 or 10 stamps and the reward, like a free hot drink. Print the QR code and put it by the till.

  2. Add pre-orders

Put your drinks and pastries in a WhatsApp store on the Basic plan. Turn on collection, or dine-in for table orders.

  3. Share one card

A digital card with your opening hours, a link to order and a link to join the stamp card. Pop it in your Instagram bio.

Example setup

A two-till café near a train station

A 10-stamp card for hot drinks, with the 10th free. On Silver, each barista has their own login on the staff scanner and stamps from the tablet by the till. A WhatsApp store with coffees, pastries and a breakfast box, collection only, from 7am. Commuters send their order on the walk in and pay by card machine when they pick it up. A tap stand on the counter opens the café's card. An example setup, not a real customer.

Questions from café owners

Can I run one stamp card for coffee and another for food?

Yes. The free Bronze plan has one stamp card and one points card. Silver lets you run three stamp cards side by side, Gold ten, and Platinum as many as you like.

How do baristas add a stamp when it's busy?

They open the staff scanner on the till tablet or their own phone, scan the customer's code and tap. On Silver and above, each barista can have their own login.

Can customers order ahead for collection?

Yes, with a WhatsApp store on the Basic plan (£10 a month, 30 days free). Turn on collection and each order arrives in your WhatsApp, numbered and itemised, for you to confirm.

Do you take a cut of pre-orders?

No. We charge 0% commission. Customers pay you however you already take money: card machine, cash or a payment link.

Do customers have to give me their email to join?

No. They scan your QR code and the card opens in their browser. They can add it to Apple or Google Wallet if they like.
