Orders shouldn't need a detective

Orders in five places

Texts, DMs, phone calls and a notepad by the oven. Saturday's birthday cake is in there somewhere. A store puts every order in one chat, numbered.

Apps taking a slice

Commission on every order, on margins that are already thin. With your own store, the whole order is yours.

"Is the sourdough on today?"

The same questions about what's in and when you're open. Your store shows the menu, the prices and your opening hours.

Use case

How it works for a small bakery that does celebration cakes to order

  1. The problem

Cake orders come by text, DM, phone and on the back of receipts. Details get missed and Saturday is chaos.

  2. Day one

The bakes go into a WhatsApp store with sizes, flavours and collection days. The link goes on Instagram and the shop window.

  3. Every order

Customers pick what they want at home and send it. The order lands in WhatsApp with every detail written down.

  4. Every Friday

The baker reads the week's orders in one chat, bakes to the list and messages each customer when it's ready.

What it costs: One store on Basic for £10 a month, with no commission on orders.

An illustrative use case, not a real customer.

How you'd set it up

Three steps for a bakery or takeaway

  1. Put your menu up

Breads, cakes, boxes or your takeaway menu, in categories, with photos, prices and "new" or "offer" badges.

  2. Choose how you serve

Turn on collection, delivery, dine-in or any mix. Set your opening hours so people know when you'll reply.

  3. Bring them back

Add a stamp card on our rewards platform, free for 100 members. Scan their code when they collect.

Example setup

A small bakery doing weekend pre-orders

Categories for bread, cakes and celebration boxes. Collection Friday to Sunday, and local delivery on Saturdays. A pop-up for this week's special and a newsletter sign-up. Orders come in through the week as numbered WhatsApp messages. The baker confirms each one and asks for a bank transfer or payment on collection. An 8-stamp card for loaves, stamped at the counter. An example setup, not a real customer.

Questions from bakers and takeaway owners

Can I take orders for set collection days?

Yes. Turn on collection and set your opening hours to match, then confirm the collection time with each customer in the WhatsApp chat.

Do I have to take payment upfront?

That's up to you. We don't process payments. Ask for a bank transfer or payment link before you bake, or take cash or card when they collect.

Can I use it as a takeaway menu?

Yes. Turn on any mix of delivery, collection and dine-in. Each order says which one the customer picked.

Can I change what's on each day?

Yes. Add, edit or remove products whenever you like, and the change shows straight away.

Do you take commission?

No, 0%. You pay £10 a month for the Basic plan, with 30 days free, and every order is yours.
